The eLi family is a modular linear luminaire system precisely engineered to follow the fluidity of organic architecture. Designed to deliver consistent, high-quality illumination for challenging exterior applications, its semi-rigid body ensures seamless, elegant integration into curved façades and sculptural forms, backed by engineering-grade reliability.

The system offers complete versatility for designers: the eLi SW variant provides high-quality white illumination, while the eLi RGBW variant delivers vibrant, full-colour illumination with independent, pixel-level control for crafting highly dynamic effects and intricate lightscapes. A range of precision optics supports accurate beam control for wall washing or grazing across the entire product family.

Why Curves Need a Different Kind of Linear

Straight luminaires turn a curve into a series of hotspots, gaps and awkward transitions. Flexible strip follows the line, but rarely has the output, durability or run length an exterior facade demands.

Custom Body Designs

eLi ships in black as standard. For projects where the luminaire should disappear into the facade, or become part of it, bodies can be finished in custom colours to match the architecture, over the same marine grade construction.

Designed for Comfort: Glare Louvre

An optional glare louvre shields the light source from where it isn't needed, keeping the light on the surface and out of view.

Built to Stay in Service

eLi is repairable at module level. A failure is one 300 mm module that unplugs and is replaced, not a full run and a scaffold. eLi SW is rated L90B10 above 60,000 hours, eLi RGBW L70 at 50,000 hours.

Long Runs from a Single Feed

Every luminaire has its own driver, so brightness and colour stay identical from the first module to the last.

Controls and Wiring

eLi SW and eLi RGBW run on DALI, DMX or Casambi through the eLi controller, with power and data on the same cable. eLi SW can also run with no control. eLi RGBW adds individual pixel control over DMX and Casambi.

Mounting and Dimensions

eLi mounts on a low profile surface bracket, or on a rotating bracket (type A or B) to aim the graze. An optional glare shield fits to the rotating bracket. Full dimensions and mounting footprints are below and in the installation manual.

5 Year Warranty

Coolon luminaires are covered by a solid comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty that covers a range of possible defects and performance parameters throughout the duration of the warranty period.
