Illuminating an Icon: Queen’s Wharf Brisbane Crown Engineering Resilience and Tuneable White Lighting, High in the Sky.
At the heart of Brisbane’s transformational Queen’s Wharf precinct sits the crown, right below the Sky Deck on level 23. Our contribution focused on the building’s crown, where architectural intent meets rigorous environmental demands.
The brief required a high-performance solution to wash the angled fascia of the crown with uniformity. Given the exposed elevation, the luminaires must withstand Queensland’s volatile climate, ranging from intense UV exposure to high humidity and tropical rain events.
Max Mini TW IP was the product of choice. Our tuneable white solution provides an expansive white colour range and precise optical beam, allowing the client to shift the crown’s aesthetic from soft to bright white hues. The result is a seamless integration that completes the facade’s nightly transformation, ensuring the Queen’s Wharf Building remains a luminescent beacon on the Brisbane skyline.
