LED Strips
LED Strips are great for back lighting, accent lighting, decorative or feature lighting.
Ideally, the LED strips are used with a diffuser, such as semi-translucent acrylic material. This gives them the desirable even spread of light, so that the resulting glow is not 'dotty' or 'patchy'.
The high density of the LEDs spread along the surface of the Side Emitting LED Strip ensures that the light is even along the strip and the glare is reduced.
The light output from each LED blends with the light output from the LED(s) next to it, resulting in a most uniform glow.
Suggested Applications:
- Most useful for providing an even distribution of light in panels, designed to be lit from the side, such as super-slim light boxes
- For applications where space for the light source is limited
- In architectural applications (including accent lighting, decorative lighting, feature lighting)
- As slim light sources (with or without diffuser), such as under- and in-shelf lighting
- In applications where the light source is exposed to the viewer and glare must be minimised
- In hard to reach places, where alternative light sources are not suitable due to associated maintenance costs
- In environments subject to vandalism, where fragile light sources are not suitable
